TROOPERS INVESTIGATING ATV THEFT IN GREEN TOWNSHIP

State police are investigating the theft of an ATV from the Dixonville area over the weekend.

Troopers say around 1 AM Sunday, a red 2001 Polaris Scrambler 500 was stolen from the driveway of a home along Larch Road in Green Township. The ATV belongs to a 60-year-old Dixonville man, and has a black rear seatback storage loungers installed and it has a PA license plate number 4G173.

Anyone with information on the ATV is asked to call 724-357-1960 and ask for Trooper Nicholas Smith.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
