Indiana Borough Police say charges are pending against a driver who ran a stop sign on 11th Street yesterday afternoon and collided with a vehicle on Philadelphia Street. It happened at 4:43 PM. Police do not identify the drivers and they also don’t say if anyone was injured, but they were assisted on the scene by Citizens’ Ambulance Service. Other assistance was provided by IUP Police.
Borough police also report the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of Water Street between 6 o’clock Thursday evening and 10:30 the following morning. Anyone with information is asked to call 349-2121.
A mountain bike was stolen from the entrance way to the Sheetz store at 4th and Philadelphia streets last Tuesday at about 5:10 PM. It’s a black Giant brand bike with Maxxis tires. Again, if you know anything about it, you’re asked to call police at 349-2121.
