Cynthia “Cindy” Kay Bothell, 61, of Clymer, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
The daughter of Richard and Sylvia (Bence) Bothell, Cindy was born on January 6, 1962 in Indiana, PA and resided in Tanoma, PA.
Cindy was a graduate of the Marion Center High School Class of 1983 and a member of the New Life Lutheran Church, Marion Center, PA.
Cindy was a beautiful example of one who was dearly loved and returned that same kind of love to others in her own unique way. Her life was a continual reminder of what she valued most. She was a faithful, devoted follower of Jesus, and a loving and appreciative daughter, a loyal sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt and a friend to many.
Cindy contributed her services to the church by keeping weekly attendance records. Anyone who knew Cindy would recognize this task was not easy for her, but now she is laying down her well-earned trophies before the God she loved and served. Cindy has completed the work God gave her to do, and in doing so, she has left a beautiful legacy.
Cindy is preceded in death by her grandparents: Roselma and Wilbur Bothell and Gladys and Lloyd Bence and uncles Ronald Bothell and Gerson Bence.
She is survived by her parents; sister, Lori (Bothell) and husband R. Michael Keith and their family: Ryan and Brittney Keith; Garett and Meagan Keith and Tyler Keith and friend Hannah Schrecengost; sister Deana (Bothell) and husband Stacy Fairman and their family: Kendall and Logan Bailey; Colton and Shelby Fairman and Conner Fairman and fiancé Brittany Coleman and brother Chad and wife Connie (Mountain) Bothell and their family: McKenna, Silas and Rhett Bothell. Cindy was a great aunt to: Ryker, Boden, Liam and Charity.
Also surviving are her Aunt Doris Bence; Aunt Dorothy Bothell; Uncle Daniel and Aunt Lynette Bothell; Great Great Aunt Dorie Benamati and many, many cousins.
We thank Cindy’s special caregiver of thirty years, Sharon Stapleton and also her caregiver of five years, Amanda Blystone.
Friends will be received at the New Life Lutheran Church, 1209 Leroy Rd., Marion Center, PA 15759 on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for visitation. Pastor Arlene Schweitzer will officiate the funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
