State police are investigating a case of indecent assault that dates back to 1979. Troopers say they received the tip through PA Childline. The victim, now a 55-year-old man from Cranberry Township, reported that in September of 1979, he was sexually assaulted on a camping trip in the area of Ray Road and South Harmony Road in September of 1979. The investigation is ongoing.
A 34-year-old Indiana man was charged with criminal mischief for an incident early Wednesday morning. State police say they were called out for a report of a disturbance in White Township in the area of North 4th Avenue. When police got there, they found a 34-year-old Indiana man broke the rear window out of a 2018 Nissan Altima owned by a 37-year-old woman.
