The deadline is today for people who want to attend the “Cabinet In Your Community” event next Tuesday at the Kovalchick Complex.
Four of Governor Tom Wolf’s cabinet members will be taking questions and discussing issues their departments are dealing with. They include Secretary of Conservation & Natural Resources Cindy Dunn, Secretary of Labor & Industry Jerry Oleksiak, Secretary of Aging Teresa Osborne, and Secretary of Transportation Leslie Richards.
The Cabinet In Your Community initiative began last November. The events use a town hall format, giving community members the opportunity to interact with cabinet secretaries and talk about the issues important to each region. The secretaries will provide region specific updates on major projects and accomplishments, and answer questions from the audience.
Tuesday’s event is scheduled for one o’clock. It’s open to the public. If you plan to attend, you are asked to RSVP to 570-614-2090 by today, or copy this link to RSVP online: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeSrMA_uz724rNCeaq0JtHGwzzwdfwl0y5X1GEpAC4B6jA_FA/viewform.
