BLAIRSVILLE MAN FACING CHARGES OF SHOPLIFTING IN LATROBE

A Blairsville man is facing shoplifting charges in Westmoreland County.

State Police out of the Greensburg barracks say the theft happened last Tuesday night at the Sheetz in Latrobe.  38-year-old Christopher McAteer was seen going in what was called the “third entrance” to the store and straight to the Beer Cave, taking a case of Twisted Tea and trying to leave without paying for it.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
