VOLLEYBALL
Homer-Center topped Purchase Line, 3-1, last night, dropping the first game, 25-17, before sweeping the next three, 25-19, 25-18, and 25-15. Meegan Williams led the Wildcats with 19 kills and 15 digs, Ashlyn Kerr had 9 kills, Alaina Fabin had 8 kills and 4 blocks, and Emma Rouser added 7 kills.
Indiana shut out Greensburg Salem, 3-0. Paige Fisanich led the way with nine kills. Stella Stossel had six kills, four digs, and two aces. Hannah Cowburn had 20 assists and Alex Ball had nine digs.
JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL
The Indiana Junior High football team won for the first time this season yesterday, downing Burrell 30-14. Jason Strack opened the scoring with a 21-yard touchdown run. Strack then threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Boiano. Jace Brocious added a 1-yard touchdown run and Davis Putt closed the scoring with an 8-yard run. Tyler Nelson, Derek Oakes and Luke Raglani all scored two-point conversions. Indiana is 1-2 and plays at Derry next Wednesday.
