Homer-Center traveled to Punxsutawney on Tuesday night and lost both ends of a girls’/boys’ doubleheader to the Chucks.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Punxsutawney 65, Homer Center 57
(Homer Center led, 32-31, at the half but was outscored in the final two periods. Riley Presloid led the Chucks with 19 points and Sarah Weaver scored 18. Molly Kosmack led the Wildcats with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Macy Sardone had 15 points, and Marlee Kochman scored 12.)
BOYS BASKETBALL
Punxsutawney 50, Homer Center 47 (OT)
(Nick Humble and Ethan Presloid each scored 11 points for the Chucks. Ryan Sardone scored 13 to lead the Wildcats, who also got 10 each from Evan Ober and Ben Schmidt.)

WRESTLING
Indiana wrapped up its regular season with a 30-27 Senior Salute match win over Hollidaysburg. Indiana winners on the mat were Liam McFarlane, Will Turner, Danny Turner, Will Methven, and Tanner Smith.
Indiana wrestles today in the WPIAL sub-section 1A tournament at Kiski Area. The matches begin at 2 PM, with the top two wrestlers in each weight class advancing to Saturday’s sectional tournament.
Also at the Section wrestling tournament last night, Blairsville’s Cole Stuchal and Mason Bell qualified for the District 6 wrestling tournament to be held this Saturday in Altoona. Cole Stuchal took 2nd at #160 and Mason Bell took 1st at #189.
