The Pirates added a starting pitcher yesterday, signing free agent Tyler Anderson to a one-year, $2.5 million contract, pending a physical.
The 31-year-old lefty is 22-27 with a 4.65 ERA in five seasons with the Rockies and Giants. For San Francisco last year, Anderson was 4-3 with a 4.37 ERA in 11 starts. He finished hot, with three wins in September.
