Negotiations continued yesterday between the State System of Higher Education and APSCUF, the union representing coaches in the state-owned schools.
No new agreement was reached during this negotiation session, but the two sides were able to discuss issues related to fundraising. The teams will meet again on October 30th.
The current four-year contract expired on June 30th. Coaches will continue to work under the terms of the expired contract as negotiations continue.
Meanwhile, PASSHE and APSCUF are scheduled to meet sometime in October to continue negotiations on the teachers’ contract. The two sides last met on September 12th and 13th. They are also working under the terms of the contract that expired on June 30th.
