An Indiana man is facing a simple assault charge for an incident on Sunday evening in Montgomery Township.
State police say 26-year-old Anton Smith was arguing with his “now ex-girlfriend” at a location alongside Gipsy Road in Glen Campbell, when he pulled a Hi Point 9-millimeter pistol out and pointed it at her. Smith subsequently threw the gun at the woman, and police say she caught it. He then threw other items around the home, including a coffee mug that he aimed at her but missed.
Police do not identify the victim, who they say is from Indiana.
