Jury selection is set for today for three trials in Indiana County Court, including for murder suspect Terrion Gates.
The 21-year-old Johnstown man is charged with Criminal Homicide and Robbery in connection with the shooting of Jadeyn Wright. Police say he was with Isaiah Moore, Delmar Chatman and Isabella Edmonds when the four went to Wright to purchase marijuana on October 17th of 2020, but that lead to the shooting that killed Wright. The four suspects fled on foot after that.
Moore was recently in court for a pre-trial conference. Chatman is scheduled to have a criminal call hearing on February 2nd of next year, while Edmonds will have a criminal call hearing on December 1st of this year.
Jury selection is also scheduled for 35-year-old Troy Lucas of Johnstown. He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, resisting arrest, careless driving, reckless endangerment and other crimes for an incident on May 31st of 2021.
A jury is also scheduled to be selected for Gerald Rodamel, who faces two counts each of aggravated assault with intent to cause bodily injury, simple assault and harassment for an incident on August 3rd of 2021.
