The Indiana Area School Board meets tonight, with a number of items on the agenda to set the stage for the start of the 2018-19 school year.
Included among the actions the board will consider are twelve reductions in budget allocations, totaling $264,500. The biggest reductions would be $57,000 for operations and maintenance and $50,000 in instructional equipment.
The directors will also consider a lengthy list of hirings for extracurricular activities, including rounding out new football coach Brandon Overdorff’s staff with eight assistant coaches. The agenda also includes a motion to negotiate a contract with Architectural Innovator as the district’s architect of record, and ICTC’s $6.3 million operating budget.
The Purchase Line school board also meets tonight. They have not published their agenda.
