State police are investigating the theft of pills from the purse of a Homer City woman. A thief stole approximately ninety Gabapentin pills from the 33-year-old victim between May 15th and 17th. She told police she doesn’t know when it occurred or who might have gotten into her purse, but it apparently happened at her Main Street home,
Gabapentin is a non-opioid, non-narcotic drug approved for a variety of uses, primarily to treat seizures and nerve damage from shingles. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police at 357-1960.
