While heavy snowfall is not in the weather forecast for today, Accuweather reports that more snow could hit our area this coming week.
According to its website, two winter storm systems could impact our area starting this weekend. One system is part of a shift that hit the Midwest this past week with light to moderate snowfall and the secondary storm is expected to push northward along the Eastern Seaboard.
Pennsylvania is predicted to experience intermittent snowfall, with snowfall totals said to be anywhere from 1 to 3 inches, however Accuweather meteorologist Bernie Rayno says that significant icing is possible for parts of the state as well as surrounding states.
As the week progresses, we will continue to provide updates regarding snowfall including interviews with Accuweather personnel.
