CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP
State police are investigating a theft on Sunday night at the Dollar General store along Leech Avenue in Conemaugh Township, outside of Saltsburg.
Police say a man walked out of the store with four packs of batteries, five packages of Tide Pods, and six packages of Gain laundry detergent. The suspect is a white man in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties, about six feet tall, with a beard and mustache, and possibly wearing glasses. He was wearing a white ball cap with a Dodgers logo, a black Steelers tee shirt, and dark-colored pants. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 357-1960.

A Johnstown man has been charged with retail theft for a pump-and-run incident May 28th at the Vennards Crossroads Convenience store in White Township. State police say 57-year-old Perry McCall Jr. pumped $35 worth of gas into his vehicle and drove away without paying.
