On Wednesday night, the Clymer Borough Council approved putting changes to the borough’s burn ordinance up for advertisement.
Borough manager Sonya Schrenkel said that the new stipulations will focus on campfire-style fires in the borough. She talked about what the new rules entail.
In other business, council congratulated Officer Adam Lewis for his outstanding community service for his assistance at McCabe-Roof Funeral Home recently and for taking part in the first-ever National Night Out in Clymer.
