The executive director of the Indiana County Tourist Bureau has announced she is retiring later this year.
Denise Liggett made the announcement official on Indiana in the Morning on WCCS earlier today. She has been with the tourist bureau for over ten years, starting in 2009 working with special events and advertising. After a brief hiatus, she returned in 2013 when the board named her the interim director before she was named the executive director. Liggett said that it was a pleasure to promote Indiana County and all hit has to offer tourists.
Liggett also credited the people she worked with as being a part of her success.
Liggett will remain with the Tourist Bureau until the end of April.
