INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are investigating two hit-and-run crashes that happened Friday. Police say that between 5:00 and 5:45 PM, a blue Toyota Prius was hit and damaged in the 1100 block of Water Street. No details were provided on the offending vehicle.
Another hit-and-run was reported in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street. This one happened at 8:12 PM, as a dark colored SUV hit a white Nissan Altima and fled the scene without leaving any information. Call Indiana Borough Police at 724-349-2121 if you have any information on either crash.

State Police have charged an Indiana man with harassment by physical contact for an incident that happened on May 15th. State Police say that around 9:15 in the morning on the 15th, Joshua Gibson slapped a 37-year-old Indiana woman in the head with his hand at a residence on Maple Street.
Investigation is continuing into a harassment case in Green Township. State Police say a 13-year-old Commodore girl reported to police that she received several harassing messages via social media and by regular mail. This was reported happening over the last month or so.
State Police are reporting on the theft of some mail that happened late last month. Police say between May 14th and 31st, someone took two t-shirts that were in the mailbox of Kenneth Aydelotte of Armstrong Township. The thieves left the scene undetected.
