The Indiana County Office of Planning and Development has scheduled a meeting for June 26th for public discussion of the Community Development Block Grant program, Indiana County’s needs, and the county’s performance under previous block grants. The meeting will also take into account the required county Three-Year Community Development Plan.

At least seventy percent of the funds must be earmarked for projects benefitting low and moderate income residents, and in order to qualify, at least 51 percent of the persons in the service area for any project must meet the definition of low or moderate income residents.
The meeting on June 26th will be held at 1 PM in the county commissioners’ hearing room at the courthouse. Attendees will be offered the opportunity to give oral and/or written testimony.
