It is week three of the high school football season, with games on all four of our Renda Broadcasting stations and also on Renda Digital TV. The action includes the annual simulcast on WCCS and Cat Country 106.3 FM. Homer-Center travels to Saltsburg to take on River Valley. You’ll hear it on the two radio stations and see it on Renda Digital TV starting at 6:15.
Homer-Center coach Greg Page expects a fired up River Valley team.
Homer-Center is coming off a tough loss to Penns Manor last week. Page says the team quickly put the loss behind them and focused on River Valley.
River Valley coach Jess Houser knows the Wildcats have a talented quarterback in Angelo Alexander.
Houser says Homer-Center has a lot of options on offense, including running back Landon Hill and tight end Caleb Palmer.
On 92.5 FM U92 tonight, unbeaten Purchase Line visits West Shamokin. Red Dragons coach Matt Falisec says the Heritage Conference is so balanced this year, you’d better be ready to play.
Wolves coach Jon McCullough says he knew Purchase Line was going to be good this season.
The other games in the Heritage Conference tonight include Marion Center at Northern Cambria, Cambria Heights at Portage, Penns Manor at Conemaugh Township, and United Valley at Conemaugh Valley.
On WDAD and Renda Digital TV, Indiana plays host to Shadyside Academy on Salute to Heroes Night. All veterans, active military, and first responders get a free ticket to the game at the gate and the ceremonies begin at 6:35.
Coming off a loss to Knoch, Indiana coach Brad Wright says his team needs to be more mature.
All of the broadcasts tonight begin with the Indiana Total Therapy Pregame Show at 6:30, with the exception of the Homer-Center/River Valley game. That broadcast begins at 6:15.
