IUP has started accepting students for a new program that will focus on biosafety and biosecurity fields.
Enrollment is open for a specialized Biosafety/Biorisk Management Certificate program that will run for one year with the option of either fully online or a hybrid of online and in-person classes. The program is open to current IUP students, graduate students and non-students, including those in the field. Students who complete the program will become competitive for management jobs in the field in a number of industries, including universities, government bodies, biotech, human and veterinary facilities and other areas.
This certificate may also provide professionals with some of the required continuing education credits needed when seeking a Certified Biological Safety Professional certification through the American Biological Safety Association.
