The former Chief Operating Officer of Indiana County-based Phoenix Rehabilitation and Health Services has been charged with stealing more than $138,000 from the company over a twenty-month period starting in January of 2016.
55-year-old Peter Grabaskas, who left Indiana County to become the CEO of Ocean State Healthcare in Rhode Island, is accused of using the Phoenix Rehab credit card for his personal use to commit a series of thefts totaling $138,590.45 between January 9th of 2016 and August 27th of last year.
Grabaskas, who is now listed as living in Glen Mills, in Delaware County, is charged with theft by failure to make required disposition of funds, theft by unlawful taking, and theft by deception. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing before District Judge Jennifer Rega.
