Today is Memorial Day, a day set aside to pay tribute to the men and women who paid the ultimate price to protect our freedoms.
As such, Federal, State and Local government offices are closed, but state liquor stores that are normally open on Monday will be open today. There is no regular mail delivery, and if schools are still in session, they are closed for the holiday today.
IndiGo bus service is also cancelled for today and regular bus service will resume tomorrow. The Indiana Free Library and the Jimmy Stewart Museum are also closed for today. Many local banks are also closed for the day.
