The current phase of the repair of the Cramer Pike Bridge in East Wheatfield Township should be complete on Tuesday. For the past week, workers have been painting the bridge and completing steel work on the beam that was damaged by an oversized truck in 2018. The westernmost beam was damaged and earlier this year it was heat-straightened.
The current phase began August 25th and necessitated a nighttime closure of Route 22, which runs beneath the bridge.
