Negotiations between the State System of Higher Education and the union that represents its coaches continued yesterday.
Only one topic was discussed during the labor talks between PASSHE and APSCUF on Monday, and that was the issue of evaluations. While a new agreement was not reached, the teams have agreed to meet again on September 11th. The current four-year contract for coaches expired on June 30th, and remains in effect while negotiations continue.
Meanwhile, a three-day negotiation session is expected to begin today between PASSHE and APSCUF on the faculty contract. Their contract also expired on June 30th, and they are also working under the terms of the expired agreement.
