A Rural Valley woman, 45-year-old April L. Kovach, turned herself in to the Pennsylvania State Police Troop A, Indiana Station today. She was wanted on charges that included forgery, access device fraud, theft by deception, and identity theft, and a warrant was issued for her arrest on January 26, 2021.
Kovach was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Susanne V. Steffee and was remanded to Indiana County Jail in lieu of $50,000 monetary bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 23 at 8:45 a.m.
