The Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education will hold a conference call today at noon to vote on a new chancellor.
It’s been a relatively fast search process since Frank Brogan announced his retirement last August. Former Clarion University President Karen Whitney has served as the interim chancellor since September. The name of the candidate has not been revealed.
An eight-member committee co-chaired by the Board of Governors’ Chairwoman Cynthia Shapiro and Vice Chair Harold Shields has been leading the search for the State System’s fifth chancellor, who will lead the ongoing “System Redesign”. IUP Professor Laura Delbrugge is a member of that committee.
Today’s conference call will be available to the public at the State System’s website, passhe.edu.
