The high school football season kicks off tonight with games on all four Renda Broadcasting stations and two on Renda Digital TV.
On WDAD and Renda Digital TV tonight, Indiana High tackles Freeport. Indiana coach Brad Wright knows he’s in for a battle with the Yellowjackets.
There are six games on the schedule for the newly-expanded Heritage Conference.
On WCCS and Renda Digital TV, Homer-Center visits Marion Center. Wildcats coach Greg Page says quarterback Alex Stewart and the Stingers are fighters.
Page says the Wildcats have spent a good deal of time rebuilding their offensive line.
Stingers coach Adam Rising says Homer-Center will be primed.
Rising says the key for the Stingers will be mastering the basics.
On U92.5 FM, defending District 6 champion Northern Cambria will host highly-touted United Valley. Colts defensive coordinator Marty Lessard expects a tight defensive game.
Lions coach Kevin Marabito says forget the hype, you have to play the game.
On Cat Country 106.3 FM, River Valley welcomes conference newcomer Conemaugh Township. Panthers coach Jess Houser says the Indians will want to make a good first impression.
CT coach Brandon Studer says his team is ready to go.
The other Heritage Conference games tonight are:

The IRMC High School Sports Night broadcasts all begin at 6:30, with the exception of the Homer-Center/Marion Center game on WCCS, which airs at 6:15.
