“MEET THE HAWKS” EVENT POSTPONED

Downtown Indiana has made the decision to postpone an event to be held in conjunction with welcome week for IUP.

According to a post on Downtown Indiana’s Facebook page.  The “Meet The Hawks” event originally planned for 5-7 PM tonight has been postponed due to the threat of rain and thunderstorms.  The event has been moved to September 21st from 5-7 PM as the final “Third Thursday” event for 2023.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
