The United Way of Indiana County has announced that funding is now available through a grant program for non-profit organizations.
The grants that are being made available for non-profits that “demonstrate a solid programmatic plan for meeting critical human service needs in Indiana County.” Eight such grants were provided in 2017 with the grants going to programs that helped with education initiatives, anti-bullying programs, after school activities and other programs. Grants will be awarded on September 4th, and the money has to be spent by June 20th of 2019.
The application is available through the United Way’s website, www.uwindianacounty.org or by stopping by their office at 655 Church Street. Applications will only be accepted in electronic form, and they must be in by July 20th.
