As the River Valley School District gets ready to start another year, they are warning parents about some changes to traffic procedures at the district’s Blairsville campus.
In a note on the district website, the district is asking parents to be alert and use caution when entering the campus and to follow campus security directions at all times.
The traffic procedures that have changed include:
- Entering campus from the northbound lane of Cornell Road. They will be stopped by campus security and will be asked to wait until they are released. They ask that people arrive on campus using Cornell Rd. from the Sheetz intersection. All traffic must turn left into the campus driveway at pick-up and dismissal times.
- Middle and high school parent pickup will start at 2:44 – 3:00 pm after all district transportation has exited the bus lane.
- Blairsville Elementary parents may begin lining up for pick up at 3:30 pm and will be directed through the campus by campus security.
School starts for the River Valley School district on Thursday.
