There were no significant injuries reported in the second preseason game, and coach Mike Tomlin said everyone should be ready to go this Thursday night in the final preseason game at Atlanta.
Tomlin said he approached the game on Saturday night with this week’s schedule in mind.

Tomlin says the Steelers’ offense looks good, but it’s not gotten a lot of work in yet.
After Thursday’s final preseason game, the Steelers will not play again for seventeen days, in the season opener September 10th against San Francisco.
Former Steelers linebacker Myles Jack abruptly announced his retirement from football yesterday, just two weeks after signing with the Eagles. Jack led the Steelers in tackles last year with 104, three of them for a loss.
