Two people were injured Friday evening in a motorcycle crash on Tunnelton Road near Coaltown Road in Conemaugh Township. The driver of the motorcycle is suspected of driving under the influence.
It happened just before 8 PM when a Harley Davidson Lowrider operated by 44-year-old Gregory Larimer of Delmont left the road and entered into a grassy wooded area, where it struck a ditch, spilling Larimer and his passenger, 56-year-old Pollyann Zeller of Saltsburg. Both suffered injuries of unknown severity.
In a separate report, police say Larimer was under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, and had a small amount of marijuana and a brass smoking device on him. Charges are pending the results of Larimer’s blood-alcohol test.
