Altoona rode a five-run second inning en route to a 6-3 win over Bowie. Matt Fraizer and Jackson Glenn each finished with two hits, while Andres Alvarez hit his seventh home run of the year.
Aaron Shortridge earned the win after striking out five over six innings. He also allowed just two runs on seven hits.
LHP Jackson Wolf (0-1, 5.63 ERA) starts for the Curve in the series’ fourth game tonight.
