Coach Pat Narduzzi was in good spirits following day 13 of training camp from the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
Narduzzi commented on the long run of camp and said while teams get sluggish after practicing for so long, his group of Panthers are still fired up and ready to learn.
Narduzzi also said he’s seen a lot from his underclassmen, including offensive lineman Ryan Baer, who is quickly becoming a leader.
Narduzzi adds he’s been pleasantly surprised by redshirt freshman running back Montravious Lloyd, who is “getting better every day.”
While he’s making an impact on the practice field, Lloyd said he needs to focus on staying patient.
Camp continues today for Pitt and they open their season September 2nd at home against Wofford.
