River Valley improved to 8-0 in boys golf after taking down Homer Center, West Shamokin and Conemaugh Valley yesterday at Chestnut Ridge. The team finished at 217 and were led by Jeremy Reed with a 36. Jake Pynos finished one stroke behind him at 37.
Marcus Coy led Homer Center golfers with a 43. Jeremy Dietz led Conemaugh Valley with a 43, and Alex Talmadge led West Shamokin golfers with a 36.
Indiana moved to 2-0 after a 190-219 non-section win over Kiski Area. Harrison Martineau medaled after finished 1-under par at 35. Caden Force shot a 37, Philip Bell a 38, and Trevor Todd a 39. Caden Witt led Kiski golfers with a 38.
Indiana returns to action on Monday with another non-section match against Ligonier Valley. Tee time from Champion Lakes is 4 p.m.
