The Pitt Panthers have lost their wide receivers coach to the NFL. Chris Beatty announced he is leaving the Panthers after taking the same job in the NFL with the Los Angeles Chargers.
In a statement on Twitter, coach Pat Narduzzi said that he was a major asset, not just as a coach or teacher, but as a recruiter. He has been the main recruiting contact with players in the Virginia and Washington, D.C. areas. This will mark the first time Beatty will coach in the NFL.
