IUP was recently selected by the Princeton Review for its 2024 Best Colleges guidebook.
The selection is based off surveys and interviews with students, and schools are ranked in eight categories, including academics, admissions, selectivity, and financial aid. The guidebook recognized IUP’s commitment to student success and individualized support along with it’s academic standing.
Students interviewed in the survey described the IUP community as quote, “widely diverse, yet inclusive, [which] creates a wonderful environment to want to be a part of.” Students also recognized the efforts by professors at IUP, saying they go out of their way to help students understand the work, and the way it showcases opportunities through the over 200 clubs and organizations.
IUP president Dr. Michael Driscoll said in a news release he was grateful and proud to hear those comments, and he adds students quote, “are inquisitive and open to new experiences and perspectives. They work hard, they have fun, and most of all, they care deeply about one another. This feeling and attitude of respect and concern is at the heart of the IUP community.”
IUP has been featured in the annual guidebook for more than 20 years.
