IUP transfer guard Garvin Clarke was named to the Bahamas National Team on Monday. Clarke will join 14 other players to represent the Bahamas in the FIBA Pre-Olympic Qualifier game, which happens later this week in Argentina. It marks his third nomination to the team, previously making it in 2021 and 2022.
Clarke announced his transfer to IUP from Akron in May. He appeared in 24 games with the Zips last season and shot 28 percent from the floor.
