A major fire was reported this morning just over the Indiana-Westmoreland County Border.
Westmoreland County 911 reported that the call went out at 2:40 this morning for a residential fire on Pizza Barn Road near the intersection with Toms Lane in Derry Township. Multiple fire departments were called to the scene, including four Indiana County fire departments. Blairsville, Black Lick and Clyde fire departments were called in to help crews at 2:46 this morning, while Tunnelton Fire Crews were dispatched three minutes after that. Armagh and Bolivar fire fighters are currently on standby.

No word yet on the extent of damage or the cause of the fire, but Westmoreland County 911 reports that Pizza Barn Road was blocked as crews were on-scene. Reports from KDKA-TV say that there were people in the home at the time, but they were able to get out safely.
