Center Township Supervisors last night hired two new code enforcement officers.
The two that were hired were former Homer City Police Chief Louis Sacco and Andy Saint McKloskey, and they will join Charles Westover as the trio of code enforcement officers for the township. Supervisors Chairman Dave “Butch” Smyers said that the two will be able to be more effective as they are in the township. The two they are replacing are not in the township and are hard to get a hold of, so this will make things easier for people to report code violations. The township will continue to accept applications for code enforcement officers.
In other business, it was announced that road sweeping is nearly complete as they clean up the ice melter and anti-skid materials from the winter season, and Smyers also thanked the Aultman Watershed Group for their recent cleanup efforts.
