Fair season has arrived with the first of four area fairs getting underway this weekend.
The Dayton Fair held an antique tractor pull yesterday and today there is a horse pulling competition in the afternoon. Tonight, the traditional vesper service is at 7, to be followed at 8 by the naming of the fair queen.
The Indiana County Fair begins two weeks from now, followed by the county’s two community fairs, the Ox Hill Fair beginning September 3rd and the Cookport Fair, which begins on September 11th.
