Gas prices in our area continue to hover above normal, but for now, they have dipped down a penny.
The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Indiana County, according to GasBuddy.com, is $3.05 a gallon. Many gas stations in the county have gas prices above that average at $3.09 a gallon, but the average is down one cent from last week.
The county-wide average is higher than the state-wide average, which is now at $3.01 a gallon. That state-wide average is down one-cent from this time a week ago, but is up 13 cents from last month and up 39 cents from one year ago at this time.
