After an embarrassing loss at Wake Forest on Saturday, the Pitt Panthers are back home tonight for a 7 PM tipoff against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Pitt is 8-3 and 4-2 in the ACC. North Carolina, which leads the nation in rebounds per game (43.5) and in offensive rebounds per game (15.8), is 10-5 and 5-3 in the conference.
Pitt’s Justin Champagnie has been named the ACC Player of the Week for the third time this season. He average 24 points and 11 rebounds in the two games last week.
