State police have now classified the death of a man found last Thursday in West Wheatfield Township as a homicide, and a reward has been offered for information leading to the killer.
The Troop A Major Case team from the State Police announced this morning that the death of 27-year-old Dashawn C. Green-Brewster of Philadelphia was ruled a homicide. Green-Brewster found on January 21st by a PennDOT employee that was inspecting a drain along Mulligan Hill Road between Robinson and New Florence. State police are currently working with Johnstown Police on the case, as he was reported missing to Johnstown police on January 19th.
No other details about Green-Brewster’s death are being released as it is still early in the investigation, which is ongoing as of this morning.
Police are encouraging anyone with information to either call them at 724-357-1960 or to call PA Crimestoppers at 1-800-4-PA-TIPS or to log on to the Crimestoppers Website to submit the tip that way. Anyone who submits a tip to PA Crimestoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that would lead to an arrest.
