State police say an Indiana man is the victim of identity theft, and he found out about it when he tried to use his Visa debit card and it was denied.
The incident happened last Friday night at a location along Nowrytown Road in Conemaugh Township. Police say that after his card was declined, the man contacted his bank and found that there were three suspicious charges on the card from three separate Walmart stores. The total amount stolen was $220.63.
