The Indiana County Endowment is accepting applications for both their general fund and for the Evans Health Care Fund.
The general fund will provide seed money to help develop new social service ventures to promote the social, economic and cultural development of the county. The money can be used for research or study, or provide support for specific events, or initiate activity to improve physical property. Money from the general fund cannot be used for normal operating expenses.
The Evans Health Care fund will provide grants for people in the Marion Center, Penns Manor or Purchase Line school districts to take part in health care projects. This would help projects or programs that are not normally provided through governmental agencies or non-profit groups, but the funds can be used to raise awareness for those programs. Programs that combine resources with other groups will be given preferential treatment, and a recommendation from a health care professional must accompany the application.
