First responders had a busy day on Sunday.
The day started at 7:53 for the Cherry Tree fire department, as they were called into Clearfield County to help with a reported structure fire in Westover.
Brush Valley firefighters had back-to-back vehicle accidents to tend to. The first call was at 11:43 AM on Old Mission Road, and the second was at 1:52 PM along Route 56 East. Fire crews were assisted by state police and Citizens’ Ambulance at both scenes.
A structure fire was also reported on Cobblestone Drive in White Township at 5:18 PM. Indiana Fire Association and the RIT team were called out at the time.
