The Pitt Panthers resume play today after having a few games postponed due to Covid-19-related issues. The Panthers will host the Syracuse Orange today at the Petersen Events Center.
The Panthers, however, will be without one of their freshman forwards as John Hugley now faces two felony counts of Criminal Conspiracy and one felony count of receiving stolen property along with a summary vehicle code violation for an incident in July when someone stole a white chevy Malibu from a parking spot on Coltart Avenue in Oakland. After the charges were announced, Hugley was suspended indefinitely from the team. A preliminary hearing for Hugley is set for February 18th.
